These terms are governed by the laws of Japan unless mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction require otherwise. Courts in Tokyo shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising from these terms, without prejudice to rights you cannot waive. If a provision is invalid, the remainder stays enforceable. United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Kernel Harbor Academy provides online Linux system administration training, labs, and related advisory sessions described on this site. Features may evolve; we will not materially reduce purchased access without notice where we have a direct contractual relationship with you. Third-party certifications are not guaranteed outcomes; exam bodies set their own rules.

By using the site, submitting forms, or purchasing offerings through linked channels, you accept these terms. If you accept on behalf of a company, you represent authority to bind that entity. You must provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential. We may refuse service when fraud, harassment, or illegal activity is suspected.

To the fullest extent permitted by Japanese law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from site use or training participation. Aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to amounts paid for the specific offering in the six months preceding the claim unless law forbids such caps. We do not disclaim liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such disclaimer is void.

You agree not to misuse lab infrastructure, probe other learners' environments, or redistribute course materials outside your license. Enterprise teams must ensure each seat corresponds to an individual learner unless a written agreement permits shared practice accounts. You will follow acceptable use policies communicated during onboarding.

Curriculum text, diagrams, and lab scenarios are protected by copyright and licensed for personal learning use. Trademarks belong to their owners. Feedback you provide may be used to improve services without obligation of payment unless a separate contract states otherwise. You retain ownership of your original work products created during labs.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment where applicable, or security incidents. You may stop using the site at any time. Sections on liability, intellectual property, and governing law survive termination. Data handling after termination follows the Privacy Policy retention rules.

Operational notices may be sent to the email you provide. You are responsible for reading messages about schedule changes or security updates. Marketing messages, if any, include unsubscribe mechanisms compliant with applicable law.

We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale with notice on this site. You may not assign your rights without our written consent except where law permits transfer to a successor employer under an enterprise agreement.

These terms, linked policies, and any executed order form constitute the entire agreement regarding site use. Conflicting terms in purchase orders that we do not sign do not apply. Headings are for convenience only.
