Refund Policy

1. Process
Refund requests must be emailed to contact@logicbaseinsight.one with your full name, purchase reference, and cohort identifier if applicable. We confirm receipt within one business day Japan time. Some programs require a short intake questionnaire so we can verify eligibility against the criteria below. Partial refunds, when available, are calculated from the remaining unused portion of the service as described in timeframe and exceptions.
2. Timeframe
For self-paced courses, you may request a full refund within fourteen calendar days of purchase provided you have not accessed more than twenty percent of released lab content. For cohort programs, refund windows are listed on the checkout partner page if one exists; otherwise the fourteen-day rule applies until the cohort start date published at purchase. After services have been substantially delivered, refunds may be partial or declined as described in exceptions.
3. Exceptions
Exam vouchers, third-party certification fees, and shipping of physical materials are non-refundable once ordered. Custom enterprise engagements are governed by separate statements of work. If you violate acceptable use policies, refunds may be withheld to cover investigation costs, subject to applicable law. Promotional bundles refund as a package; partial refunds within a bundle are not offered unless required by law.
4. Eligibility
Eligibility depends on purchase channel. Direct purchases through authorized partners must route refund requests through those partners first. Consumers in Japan retain statutory rights under the Consumer Contract Act where it applies alongside this policy. Business purchasers may have distinct terms in executed order forms that control when those terms are validly agreed.
5. Contact
Refund correspondence uses the same contact@logicbaseinsight.one address as other privacy inquiries. Please include Refund in the subject line. Phone support can clarify process but cannot finalize refunds without written confirmation for auditability.
6. Scope
This policy applies to tuition-like fees published on this site in JPY. Donations, grants, or unrelated services are excluded. Currency reconciliation differences caused by your payment provider are outside our control but we will cooperate with good-faith documentation requests.
7. Processing timeline
Approved refunds are initiated within ten business days. Settlement to your original payment method may take additional days depending on processors. We do not charge refund fees unless your bank imposes wire charges for unusual cases.
8. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback, we may pause access until the dispute resolves. Please contact us first so we can reconcile legitimate concerns without unnecessary disputes that harm lab capacity planning.
9. Cohort transfers
Instead of a refund, you may request a one-time cohort transfer before the published start date if seats exist. Transfers are not guaranteed and may incur administrative fees disclosed at the time of approval.
10. Recordkeeping
We retain refund decisions and communications for seven years for operational auditing and tax purposes. Records are stored with access controls and purged according to the retention table coordinated with our privacy team.
